Client: Blindian Project, founded by cultural strategist and storyteller Jonah Batambuze
Focus: Celebrating Black x Brown solidarity through storytelling, events, and community engagement.
The Vision
Born from lived experience and cultural curiosity, Blindian Project began as a safe space for Black and South Asian couples. But under Jonah Batambuze’s leadership, it quickly evolved into a global platform for exploring the intersections of Black x Brown identity, joy, resistance, and community.
As the movement grew, so did the need for clearer messaging, deeper positioning, and consistent communications support.
The Challenge
Blindian Project was fueled by passion and purpose — but Jonah needed help building the communications muscle to match the vision.
Key challenges included:
- Navigating shifting brand identity as the platform grew from couple-centered stories to a broader solidarity movement.
- Ensuring inclusive language that welcomed allies and Black/Brown people beyond romantic partnerships.
- Supporting Jonah’s development as a credible thought leader on culture, race, and community.
- Balancing growth with strategy — without diluting the core message.
